Abstract

Spiritual intelligence, a multidimensional construct integrating spirituality and cognitive processes, has emerged as a critical factor in understanding mental health. The study was undertaken to investigate the relationship between spiritual intelligence and mental health among university students. A sample of 31 university students were taken between the age group of 18- 25 years old. Standardized tools, Meaning of Life Questionnaire Scale (MLQ) and Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale (DASS-21 and DASS-42) were used. The study found significant correlations between depression, stress, and anxiety, highlighting their interconnectedness. However, the role of spiritual intelligence, including presence and search for meaning, showed insignificant results, suggesting its indirect influence on mental health.
